1. I attach 3 sets of briefs for the visit. All are in' final form.
However, the following may need last minute amendment:
a) Briefs Nos 5 and 20: Nationality Bill. Changes may
be necessary following the Secretary of State's meeting
with Mr Whitelaw on 26 March.
b) Brief No 10: Chinese Visa Office in Hong Kong.
Depends
on outcome of discussion between HM Embassy in Peking
and Chinese MFA this week.
c) Brief No 14: Meeting with Sir Lawrence Kadoorie.
Depends on progress on Castle Peak 'B' Power Station deal.
