Many thanks for your letter of 5 January and your good
wishes for 1981.
At present my plans are to be in Hong Kong at the end
of March and I understand from the Governor that we shall
be dining together on 30 March. I look forward very much
to seeing you then.
I would also like to let you know how pleased I was to
hear that you have placed a substantial order for ships
from Britain. This is good news indeed and I hope the
forerunner of more such orders.
