We were interested to read Mexico, City telegram number 13 to Hong Kong from Purves and we would be interested to know the outcome.
2. The telegram prompted us to look at our Political Background Brief on Hong Kong and China for use at international meetings. I do not know whether you have one so I have attached it. You might wish to consider giving a copy to all heads of Hong Kong delegations to international meetings.
