ExCo approved in principle the resumption of private land for village expansion. CTP/NT requested to prepare layouts for some 50 villages.
Progress in implementing proposals in the White Paper on District Admini- stration has been made on the following fronts:
(a) Declaration of Districts Order
1981, Declaration of Constituencies Order 1981 and Electoral Provisions (Registration of Electors) Regulations 1981 made by ExCo un- der s.3 of the District Boards Ordinance 1981 and Electoral Provisions Ordinance 1981 on 11 August 1981.
