Purpose
To introduce RTHK local radio services (for Tsuen Wan New Town in the first instance) with the aim of contributing to community building efforts. It is proposed that limited local broadcasts be made by opting out of the territory- wide programmes at certain hours.
Progress Made and Present Position
RTHK has worked out its requirement for equipment & personnel to operate Radio Tsuen Wan.
Next Quarter Target
Progress depends on implementation of the FM Transmission plan; to await the outcome of the consultancy referred to in item 6.
