Outline Plan

To review the working of the land exchange entitlement system.
To coordinate, consider and review any necessary amendments or revisions to
the HKOP to reflect changes in policies relating to the utilization of land and to the scale of provision of various services and facilities.

A memorandum has been submitted to Executive Council, reporting on the working of the system.
Reviews on the following major HKOP standards have been initiated:
(a) Population densities in public
housing estates Working group completed its study.
(b) Domestic plot ratios in New Towns Consultants were appointed and consultants management group formed. (c) Standards of provision for
industrial land Working group meetings convened by TPO on basic parameters for industrial classification, worker occupancy rates and plot ratios.
(d) Standards of provision for
social welfare institutions.
(e) Standards of provision for
recreational facilities : Working! group under CR & C continued its! deliberations.
(a) Population densities : Working group's recom- mendations to be sub- mitted to HKOP Steering Group and LDPC.
(b) Domestic Plot Ratios :
Monitor progress of consultants (completion May 1981).
(c) Industrial Land :
Finalise proposals and submit to PWD Conference and HKOP Steering Group.
(d) Social Welfare Institu- tions Convene Working group meeting to discuss proposals from DSW.
(e)
Standards of provision for recreational facili- ties: CR&C to convene
further meetings of
