(b) The annual Review of the application of

International Labour Conventions to Hong Kong wes forwarded to the FCO on 7 January 1981.

Drafting approval for amending regulations to increase the level of penalties in five sets of subsidiary regulations: made under the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance was given by the Secretary for Social Services on 24 December 1980.

To consider draft regulations when circulated.

The Employment (Amendment) Bill 1981 was approved Action completed. in principle by the Executive Council on 23 December 1980 and passed by the Legislative Council on 21 January 1981.
