given to encouraging more departments to establish informal but direct contact with selected
interest groups. As a start, CIU has arranged for the Executive Director of SoCO to meet the Deputy Director of Housing (Administration & Planning) informally.

liaison with students has been prepared in consul- tation with HAD.
(b) The change in name will be announced internally when a suitable op- portunity arises.

informal contact will be evaluated before further attempt is made to widen this approach to include other departments.
