Purpose
b) To improve
the ROP record system.
Progress Made and Present Position
b) The Working Group chaired by DD of I met on
several occasions to examine problems associated with the Re-issue. A project team was formed under the auspices of DD of I to coordinate submission and request from relevant departments for funds and support.
The computerisation of the ROP record system was approved by ExCo on 7th July. All key data on the personal registration record would be computerised while the remaining data would he microfilmed. .
Next Quarter's Target
b) To monitor the smooth
development of various steps in implementing the ExCo decision.
To remove the existing ROP Hos to a new building.
