6. My Government reaffirm their strong commitment to the
European Community. They will continue to play a full and
constructive part in its development and to carry out the .

remainder of the British Presidency.

budget and the improvement of the Common Agricultural Policy,
and to seek early agreement on a revised Common Fisheries.
