Coming from real working man background before rising to his present position as operation officer of KMB, Mr. Wong is a real representative of the grassroots people; he maintains close contact with them and is prepared to present their views. He is practical and down-to-earth in his approach and is honest and yet diplomatic in his dealings. He is generally forceful and forthcoming in putting forward his views, which are generally well heeded. He is popular among his colleagues in the Legislative Council and well-liked and respected by Government officials and the community, especially the more traditional local citizens organisations.
His interests include sports and photography.
