Unofficial Member of Legislative Council, since 1976.
Born 1923 in London; JP (1976), OBE (1978).
Educated at the University of London, graduated with diplomas in both education and theology. Teacher &

Current member of School Medical Service Review Ad Hoc Committee, and Citizens Advisory Committee on Community Relations Committee to the Independent Commission Against Corruption.
Though a UK-born woman, Miss Bennett has lived in Hong Kong for over two decades and long enough to grasp the views of the grass-roots people through her command of Cantonese and participation in local district committee activities. One of the two first female priests ordained by the Anglican Church, she is a robust character, cheerful, kindly, ready and willing to help others. She is known as a devoted and determined social worker and educationalist, sparing no effort in helping and guiding students and young people, and is largely responsible for getting the family life education programme started off the ground. Honest, outspoken and insistent, she is respected for her integrity.
Her interests are walking and swimming.
