Mr. Cheung is a successful barrister who attained his legal qualifications by means of scholarships at Hong Kong and Oxford Universities despite an interruption of his education by World War II. He is highly intelligent, articulate and accomplished. His personality is a bit volatile from time to time but his judgement is generally sound and well respected. Although his mother was a Eurasian, he is regarded as Chinese by most of the community and Mr. Cheung himself.
