With outstanding record of public service, particularly in the industrial and productivity fields : has been Chairman of Asian Productivity Organisation (1969 70), Federation of Hong Kong Industries (1966 70), Metrication Committee (1969 73) and various local engineering institutes and member of boards and committees in the industrial fields. Current Chairman of the Standing Commission on Civil Service Salaries and Conditions of Service and the Hong Kong Polytechnic Council and member of UMELCO Independent Commission Against Corruption Complaints Committee.
