FUTURE STAFFING IN THE DEPENDENT TERRITORIES
1. Many thanks for your letter of 11 March. It was helpful to have your view which we will be discussing further with the Inspectors. I would only say here that we do see a very real need for posts in which we ensure that Diplomatic Service people obtain experience of Dependent Territories work. But I will not anticipate a point which we may wish to discuss further later on.
