Difficulties have arisen with the last leg of my journey due to a change in flight schedules. It is not now possible to make a connection with a London flight on Thursday 27 January since the flight from Grand Turk gets into Miami at 1840 instead of 1630.

There are no flights out of Grand Turk on Wednesdays and so I propose to leave Grand Turk as planned on the Thursday after- noon, but to spend the night in Miami, leaving for London the following afternoon. An alternative would be to take a Lufthansa flight from Miami to Frankfurt on Thursday night, changing planes in Frankfurt late Friday morning, which would get me to Heathrow at 1320. However, I would have left Grand Turk at 1450 the previous day and would have had two changes in the space of 18 hours and probably no sleep. I would rather avoid this if at all possible. Returning via Frankfurt would also add £116 to the fare.
3. A further alternative would be to leave out Grand Turk altogether and return to London from Grand Cayman. This would be a pity since the Turks is by far the least agreeable of the dependent territories and therefore needs to be seen in order to get a balanced impression. Moreover, there are impending staff changes there and we need to talk to Mr Reardon to see what he wants to do.
