Dear Sir,
The treatment of Social Workers in Hong Kong.
BRITISH UNION OF
SOCIAL WORKERS
29 OCT 1980
I have been contacted by the Social Workers' General Union of Hong Kong concerning the treatment of Social Workers in the Crown Colony, and the information that has been provided gives cause for concern.
As a result of that information I must ask whether the "Welfare Class Review for Social Workers in the Voluntary Sector" is to be released on 31st October as requested. If not, what are the Hong Kong Government's plans for ensuring that Social Workers in the Voluntary Sector are treated in the same way as those employed in the Government service.
I would be grateful for your early reply in this matter.
Yours sincerely
Raymond J. Hill General Secretary
