In order to facilitate a simple and effective control s over such requests from the staff, you may delegate the giving of permission to your Supervisor or Principal. It should be emphasised that the Management Committee will continue to be responsible for the permission given under delegated authority. Your delegation of authority should therefore be in writing and limited to specific types of cases and it would be advisable to obtain regular reports on how that authority has been exercised. It would also be advisable to stress that although such advantages may be accepted, they are never to be solicited. Permission for the Principal/Head to obtain an advantage, however small, can only be given by the Managment Committee.lajpier
