DRAFT COMPENSATION (PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA) (REGISTRATION) ORDER 1980
1. Further to my letter of 13 October, there are two addi- tional points I have been asked to put to you:
(a) there can be no question of registering the claims of persons who are not CUKC's since any such claim would not be sustainable by HMG in international law÷
(b) we should be grateful if you would arrange for the
notices to be put in the local press. Would HMG be billed for this and, if so, what would it amount to?
