NEW FEDERAL GERMAN IMMIGRATION REGULATIONS
Under new Federal German immigration regulations all United Kingdom nationals who (a) were not born in the United Kingdom (b) hold passports issued outside the United Kingdom and (c) do not have "exempt" entry certificates in their passports are required to obtain visas to enter the Federal German Republic. Such United Kingdom nationals who propose to travel to or through the Federal German Republic should accordingly be advised to apply to the nearest German Consul for a visa.
2. Your attention is drawn to the instruction in paragraph 3 of Circular 0 88/68 of 11 March 1968 to stamp "exempt" entry certificates in the passports of persons who qualify for them whenever the opportunity occurs.
