IMMIGRATION ORDINANCE (PART IVA) (COMMENCEMENT)
ORDER 1980
Made by the Governor in Council under section 17A
Citation.
1。
This order may be cited as the Immigration
Ordinance (Part IVA) (Commencement) Order 1980.
Commencement of Part IVA. (Cap. 115.)
2. Part IVA of the Immigration Ordinance shall
come into operation on 30 October 1980.

Explanatory Note
This order brings into operation on 30 October
1980 Part IVA of the Immigration Ordinance which requires
identity cards or other prescribed proof of identity to
be carried.
