Amend the Immigration Ordinance.
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the
advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
Short title and
commencement.
1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the
Immigration (Amendment)(No. 2) Ordinance 1980.
Amendment of section 2. (Cap. 115.)
(2) Sections 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 of this
Ordinance shall come into operation on

(a) by inserting before the definition of
"alien" the following definition

'adjudicator" means an adjudicator
appointed under section 53F;";
(b) by inserting after the definition of
"Chinese resident" the following
