a Vietnamese refugee card;

(iv)

a certificate of exemption;

or

(v)

any other approved document,

held by the employee.

(2)

A requirement may be made under

subsection (1) --

(a)

at any time prior to the appointed

day in the case of an employee who

prior to that day

(i) is in Hong Kong; and

(ii) is not by reason of sickness,

injury or leave of absence, absent

from work; or

(b)

upon the first return to work of

an employee who until the appointed

day

(i) was outside Hong Kong; or
