New Nationality Law
The Governor has asked me to reply to your letter HK 340/1 of the 20th June.
2.
We are most grateful for the background which you have provided to your telegram 531 of the 3rd July and for all the efforts which have been made by the Office to secure some changes in the proposals in the Green Paper.
3.
You will by now have received our telegram 875 of the 10th July confirming that the Executive Council have been told of some of the more important provisions of the White Paper.
4.
It would be convenient if you could let me know how the mechanics of publication are to be handled so that we can make arrangements here to ensure that they go ahead quickly and efficiently.
