Citizenship by Naturalisation
110. The rules for acquiring Citizenship of the British Colonies by naturalisation in a colony will be on the same lines as is suggested for British Citizenship. Provision will however be made for a person to qualify by reason of his knowledge of a language locally recognised in the colony for official purposes as an alternative to English. Provision will also be made for acquisition by virtue of Crown Service under the Colonial Government, at the discretion of the Governor.
Other Provisions
111. The arrangements for the registration of minor children,
acquisition on grounds of marriage; for the resumption, renunciation and deprivation of citizenship; and the restrictions on the holding of dual nationality will be on the same lines as described for British
Citizenship above with the POWIN
exerried by the Governor.
