An Ordinance to amend the Banking Ordinance.
[15 February 1980]
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent
of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Banking (Amendment) Short title. Ordinance 1980.
2. The principal Ordinance is amended by adding after section 7 Addition_of the following section-
**Amendment of conditions of licence.
7A. Without prejudice to section_7(1)(b), the Governor in Council may at any time, by notice in writing served upon a bank, attach to the licence held by that bank such condi- tions, or amend or cancel any conditions attached to the licence, as he may think proper.".
