6. Apart from section 4, the remaining sections of the Bill deal either with administrative matters or are consequential upon the changes mentioned above.

Section 4 amends section 50(3) in Part XII of the Employment Ordinance (which concerns employment agencies) by removing the exemption from that Part of employment agencies dealing solely with the employment of domestic servants. This is considered necessary because of the exploitation by some of such agencies of certain domestic servants of local or foreign origin.
8. Before the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
