An Ordinance to amend the Import and Export Ordinance.
[8 August 1980]
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Import and Export (Amend- ment) Ordinance 1980.
2. Section 7(2) of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "fifty thousand dollars" and substituting the following-
“$500,000".
3. Section 10(2) of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "fifty thousand dollars" and substituting the following-
“$500,000".
4. Section 18(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "ten thousand dollars" and substituting the following-
"$50,000".
5. Section 31(3) of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "one hundred thousand dollars" and substituting the following-
Amendment of section 36.

"$500,000".
Section 36 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) in subsection (1), by deleting "fifty thousand dollars and to im-
prisonment for one year" and substituting the following- "$500,000 and to imprisonment for 2 years"; and
(b) in subsection (2), by deleting "one hundred thousand dollars" and
substituting the following-
“$500,000".
