I have seen a copy of Mr George Younger's letter of 15 May to the Secretary of State for Trade. It seems to me that it stretches credulity in seeing a link between the Caledonian Airmotive plant's prospects and B.Cal's chances on the Hong Kong route. Do you think the DOT will treat it as it deserves, or, since it has been copied to Lord Carrington, should we comment? (Perhaps we could include the point if we are sending any comment on the Hong Kong Government's latest submission.)
