The CAA's decision - a reflection of Britain's protectionism
has aroused discontent and anger
and discrimination against HK
among HK people.
Air transport between HK and London has long been a
monopoly for British Airways. Monopoly always means unfair charges
and poor services. This is mainly due to the lack of healthy
competition.
so
As a well-experienced and efficient airline, CPA is well qualified to operate the HK-London route. But it is banned by the
CAA from the service. That means HK's interests have been totally
ignored.
The visible and invisible benefits Britain obtains from
E every year are considerable. And yet, Britain still keeps applying protectionis, discrimination and indifference to HK. There is nothing more unfair than what Britain has done to HK.
All HK people should support the government in CPA's appeal in the interests of HK and for the mutual benefit of Britain.
