Explanatory Note
These regulations amend the Dangerous Goods
(General) Regulations to
(a) require persons applying for a licence to
store compressed gases, either in cylinders or
in bulk tanks, to supply certain information
concerning any distribution pipeline leading .
from the store;
(b)
make it an offence to alter any distribution
pipeline leading from any dangerous goods store
or to fail to maintain in good order and condi-
tion any such distribution pipeline; and
(c) increase the maximum penalties that may be
imposed in respect of offences under regulation
178 concerning the unauthorized alteration of
any dangerous goods store or the failure to
maintain such a store in good order and condition.
