VISIT TO HONG KONG: MEETING WITH SIR L KADOORIE
One of the casualties of the cancellation of
Lord Carrington's visit to Hong Kong was the picnic
lunch with Sir Lawrence Kadoorie, to be followed by an
informal presentation on the Guangdong project.

The Secretary of State was sorry to miss this
and would like to express his regrets to Sir Lawrence.
