You have already seen INDUS 168, 169 and 170 of 30 November from Derek March and my holding reply. I now enclose copy of a letter from Mr Stewart of NPC with minutes of CLP's meetings with the Cantonese authorities.
Mr Stewart is coming to see me in my room (902, Ashdown House) at 10 a.m. on Friday, 7 December for debriefing purposes and you are all hereby invited. I would like to discuss with you afterward the line of a more considered reply which we need to send Derek March on the various points he raised in his telegrams.
