My wife would take your advice. Discussions with Hong Kong Government and BTC are, however, essential. I wonder whether a meeting with Nigel Taylor would be the best way to start discussions in depth with Hong Kong officials.

I do not of course want to accompany my wife unless we can more expeditiously/w ially over dinners conduct our separate business. I suppose if possible you ought to let Ashmore of NEI know that we are visiting Hong Kong not just because of NEI's interest in the area including Korea- but also because they are our Hampshire neighbours. However, they really are a low priority given the extremely tight schedule which we have set ourselves and which with your help I am sure we shall be able to fulfil.
