The arrangements for the Governor's discussions on 11 January are now as follows:

The Governor is not now calling on us on the morning of 10 January.
2. In addition to the subjects on which we have submitted briefs I think we should have some material ready in case there is time to show it to the Governor. The main subjects are:

a) The reports of the visit by the Governor of Guangdong in
December;

c) The latest telegrams from M&VD to Governors on nationality law;
1) The latest information about plans for hearings on Hong Kong
by the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee;
e) The latest telegrams on US/Hong Kong textiles agreement.
Please let me have the papers by pm on 10 January. 4. Can you think of anything else? + reports to PRC.
