In the Schedule to this Order, references to chapters and headings are references to chapters and headings in the Common Customs Tariff of the European Economic Community and accordingly.

(i) where any such reference is preceded by the

word "ex" the relevant entry shall be taken to comprise all goods which would be classified under an entry in the same terms constituting a subheading; and

(ii) all other entries shall be taken to comprise all

goods which are classified in the chapter or

heading mentioned in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Prohibition on exportation to Iran

2.-(1) Subject to Article 3 of this Order embargoed goods are prohibited to be exported from the United Kingdom to any destination in Iran for delivery to a person in Iran.

(2) Any licence granted by the Secretary of State under any other Order, relating to the control of exports, made by virtue of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Import, Export and Customs Powers (Defence) Act 1939, and any licence granted under any other enactment prohibiting or restricting the exportation of goods, shall be construed subject to paragraph (1) of this Article.

Exceptions

3.-(1) Nothing in Article 2 of this Order shall prohibit the exportation of

(a) any goods under the authority of a licence granted by the Secretary of State under this Order provided that all conditions attaching to the said licence are complied with;
