Articlo 73

Unless otherwise stated, ordinances will take effect in Macau

5 days after their publication in the government gazette.

Article 74

1) Civil servants now serving in common bodies or equivalent bodies, who,

having themselves applied but are not transferred to regional bodies in

Macau or statutory bodies for supernumeraries, will have their present

positions retained.

2) Application for transfer to bodies for supernumeraries should be made

within six months after the promulgation of this constitution.

3) All rights and privileges of the aforesaid civil servants on transfer

will be retained and to take full effect, all pervious services of such

civil servants will be counted in the new bodies.

4) National workers stationed in Macau will have their status quo maintained

until they return to the departments concerned or are transferred to the

regional bodies, but they should first listen to the advice of the Governor

concerned. The foregoing regulations apply to civil servants on transfer.

Articlo 75

In order that citizens of Macau may have still better representation,

the Legislative Council should make use of the rights given it under Seotion

31 Article (t) at its carly meetings and air its views concerning its own

organization and the councillors' comments.

Article 76

1) The Legislative Council and the Consultative Council should hold their

election within 90 days after this constitution comes into effect.

2) Before the Legislative Council and the Consultative Council stipulated

by this constitution start their work, the committees stipulated by Order No. 360-74, No. 2 (1), of 17th August, which was amended by Order No. 574-74

of 6th September, will be preserved.
