Expenditure contributing to local prosperity, including statutory grants,
awards of contrast, or other construction work of similar nature.
Retirement pension for pensioners, calculated at a rate proportional to the
length of their service in Macau.
The cost of printing banknotes and duty stamps;
Subsidies to industries or organisations always serving for the public
interest of this region;
3) No payment shall be made for items not listed in the budget book, or for
amounts exceeding those originally set out in the budget book.
4) Paymant for certain items of expenditure approved for certain purposes shall
not exceed that set out in the budget book or beyong the limit of the appropriation
legislation.
Article 61
1) The territory of Macau shall not raise any laon except for the special prupose
of achieving economic prosperity, for the repayment by instalment of loans, for the
increase of necessary assets or for security and other public relief purposes. 2) The territory of bacau region may borrow money locally or from abroad, without
security or special guarantee and proceed with other credit securing activities, provided not in contravention with the above (1). Prior formal approval
from the Government of the Republic shall be required, if security or special
guarantee is required for laons form aborad.
