PROTECTION OF TRADING INTERESTS ACT 1980
Flease see the Department of Trade letter at No.7
below. We are now ready to send a Saving Telegram to the approvriate dependent territories and my blue draft below is now identical with the white draft Saving Telegram below the DOT letter. The enclosures will have to go separately by bag under compliments slips, referring to the Savingram. I should be grateful for clearance
of the draft by all the interested departments.

Attention is drawn to No.4 on the file. While it was North America Department who dealt with the 1964 Act it was agreed that this Section should co-ordinate the action required on the 1980 Act, and as Mr Parry is very familiar with the subject he should be asked to 'vet' the outgoing Saving to DT's.
