ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

(a) Corporate membership in the General Practice

.Division of the Royal Institution of Chartered

Surveyors, or equivalent, plus one year's relevant post-qualification experience; OR (b) associateship of the Australian Institute of

Valuers, or equivalent, plus one year's relevant post-qualification experience; OR

(c) associateship of the New Zealand Institute of

Valuers, or equivalent, plus one year's relevant experience since registration as a Valuer in New Zealand; OR

(d) degree/diploma in Estate Management/Land

Economics, from a British university/polytechnic, or equivalent, plus 3 years' relevant post- qualification experience.

(a) Holding the rank of Major in the Regular Army

(Royal Corps of Signals), or equivalent;

(b) a wide and detailed operational knowledge of

radio communication networks, teleprinter and telephone and computer systems together with a specialist knowledge of signal procedures particularly R/T, and W/T to formulate Signals plans for general application and specific operations; and

(c) a technical knowledge in system concepts and frequency planning and of communications

equipment and ancillaries particularly FABX and V and UHF/FM radio telephony.

(a) (i) Corporate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, or equivalent; or (ii) Corporate Member in the Quantity Surveying Section of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, or equivalent, plus at least one year's appropriate post-qualification experience; or (iii) Corporate Member of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors by examination under the syllabus introduced in 1965, plus at least

2 years approved professional experience with

a Government Department, a statutory undertaking or private practice gained since obtaining Corporate Membership;

(b) considerable experience in civil engineering

projects including highway work, bills of quantities and measurement.
