To notify the vacancy for an Administrative Officer Staff Grade C (Principal Equivalent) on Secondment to the Government of Hong Kong, details of which are contained in the attached Trawl Advice.

4 Job Specification/ Description of Duties
A.
Overall roles and objectives
Assists Environmental Protection Adviser in identifying the needs for government action or services and helps in the formulation of policies to satisfy these needs having regard to the available resources. objectives are:
(i) to keep Hong Kong reasonably free from pollution;
(ii) to improve management of buildings;
(iii) to ensure that urban services are adequately provided.
B. Working relationships
The
Reports to Secretary for Environment and works closely with senior staff in departments on matters affecting the formulation and imple- mentation of policy. And senior members of Finance Branch and other Secretariat Branches on the allocation and utilisation of resources for his sector of activity.
