The OLA is already in contact with the new Secretary-General of the Commission, and is providing him with information about the workings of ACAS, the Central Arbitration Committee and the Civil Service PRU in this country. Apart from this, I suggest that we should give a general welcome to the Commission's establish- ment and say that we shall follow its progress with interest. If you agree, I shall write to Mr Rowlands accordingly.
