1. I attach as promised a copy of an article in the "South China Morning Post" concerning the Hong Kong nurses' "strike". You will also wish to know that Police interpreters are threatening industrial action and some members of the Urban Services Depart- ment are already taking it as a result of the Standing Commission's Second Report.
2.
It would be useful to have from Peter Williams an assessment of other reactions to the Report and outlines of any further Reports the Commission is going to produce.
