DECK FFICER INDEX

Dear Ling,

TUNG -v- LORD GORONWY ROBERTS AND DR.DAVID OWEN

Further to my letter of the 25th June 1979 I am writing to

advise you that I have now heard from the Master's Secretary's Depart-

ment of the Royal Courts of Justice that Mr. Tung has withdrawn his

Notice of Appeal to the Judge in Chambers from the decision of Master

Elton given on the 18th June. I hope, although I cannot be certain.

that this means the litigation is now at an end, that is not to say

however, that Mr. Tung will not continue his fight with the Authorities

in Hong Kong.

Yours sincerely.
