Lately, we had pleaded to Hong Kong Housing Authority to withdraw from harsh items imposed on us.
1. Withdraw the upper limit of 1280 square feet for each firm. In the beginning, they agreed with the upper limit as 5000 square feet for each firm (They have gone too far to allow only 1280 square feet for a factory. It would be a joke, if it is known to outside world).
Withdraw the "New rent 4 times the old one" imposed to the successor of the original tenant.

3.
4.
It was agreed by the Government in writing before we demolished our own factory to more into the resettlement building that our right of occupation can be transferred to our successor on the basis that he would pay the same rent as the original tenant did.
Withdraw "the increase of rent by 56.25% for every two years".
As what we have mentioned before that the demolish of our factory building and our giving up of land occupancy gave us not a single penny of compensation. These were merely justified only with the consideration of the original practice by the Government - not to increase the rent in such crazy manner and not to set up harsh laws to indirectly abolish the occupancy right of the tenants.
Withdraw "all regulation put up by Hong Kong Housing Authority since 1974".
In 1961 when we demolished our premises to give way for the so called "city planning" we were assured that the Authority would keep their words. In other words, the present Authority has no right to alter or increase any terms and conditions without the consultation or consent with or from the tenants. For example, they have added four terms since 1st September 1974 as follow: a) not transferable, b) not inheritable c) not to take partnership and d) to sign a new contract. Explanation of these topics can be found in our Letter to the World.
