to the Secretary of State on 14 June enclosing a letter from
Mrs E Elliott, an elected Urban Councillor in Hong Kong, about the
eviction by members of the Royal Hong Kong Police Force of families
whose homes in the New Territories of Hong Kong were on land needed
by the landlord for other purposes.

on the incidents referred to by Mrs Elliott. In the meantime I
