3. Notifying our tenants not to pay us the rent due, declaring

that all our properties belong to the government.

4. Declaring that the location will be used by the Mass Transit Railway and some access of traffics in connection with it will be closed on a fixed date.

The above-mentioned steps taken by the HKG were indeed a fatal secret weapon to chok us to death and such deeds, we suppose that even the most treacherous gangsters would pay their homage of inferiority and would not have the courage in their execution.

Please be aware that we are but small and humble property owners and not big shots in the realty business, nor we are big investors of estates. All we need is to obtain a stable and peaceful dwelling. Now, all our life- long savings, to a certain extend, are finished and our dreams are shattered to pieces. This action taken by the HKG is a warrant of our death.

Not long ago, the Mass Transit Railway confessed that out of only three locations they had resumed, a profit of HK$1,000 million had been made.

We are all law-abiding citizens. Our teachings enlighten us to believe in and maintain what is true and just and not to yield to influential power. We are not opposing the HKG, but we dare to oppose any unreasonable or unjust policy imposed by the Government.

In order to protect our interest and rights, we swear to mobilize our unity and exert our abilities to fight to the last and at all cost. We believe that our requisition is a reasonable one and our movements are just.

Hence, we lay the whole case before the public in details from beginning to end and hope the communities and the authorities as well to hear us out. We appeal to them to uphold justice and lend us their helping hands in persuading the HKG to withdraw its policy so unreason- able and unfair.
