Application for permanent stay of Cheung Hing Sang (
We act for Mr. Cheung Hing Sang (R) to apply
to you for permanent stay and we are instructed that our client arrived in Hong Kong on the 16th of January 1979 from Shanghai, China. Our client is an experienced quality controller in the manufacture of stainless steel and stainless steel products and he had served for 1 year in the quality control department of the Shanghai' Sun Hu Steel Factory and thereafter for a tera of 5 years in the Shanghai Mechanical Steel Blade Factory. He submitted his retirement when his application to immigrate to
Hong Kong was accepted by the Shanghai Kung On Kok (GB)). However, due to technical procedure he was granted only permission to stay by your department until the 8th of March 1979.
Our client is the eldest child of Mr. Chang Liang Hou 11 ), a stainless steel industrialist. Mr. Chang
Liang Hou is presently an import and exporter in Hong Kong operating the Wai Hing & Company at 803 China Building, 29 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong in the import and export of stainless steel. Prior to the establishment of the said Hai Hing & Company Mr. Chang Liang lou was a manufacturer of stainless steel in Indonesia and the factories he owned and operated were F.T. Rakatabadja Ship Breaking Factory, Jarkata, Indonesia, operation period 1969 1976, annual output US$3.6. and F.T. Maxifero Steel Factory, operation period 1973 - 1976 annual output US$18.

However, due to recent development in Hong Kong Mr. Chang Liang Hou has decided to transfer his business to Hong Kong with a view to commence import and export business in steel and thereafter to establish in Hong Kong a steel manufacturing factory in the manufacture of building steel rods.
