and ought not affect the effectiveness and
validity of the then applicable policy.
Further or in the alternative, regardless of
Your Petitioner's status under the then
Immigration Policy, Your Petitioner's personal
circumstances differ drastically from other
persons who intend to enter and/or to stay in
Hong Kong in that
(1)
Your Petitioner entered and remains at
present in Hong Kong. lawfully.
(ii) Your Petitioner did not commit any offence
in order to come into Hong Kong.
(iii) Your Petitioner will be a property owner

in Hong Kong.
(iv) Your Petitioner has been and is performing
a useful function in Hong Kong as more
particularised in the aforesaid paragraphs.
Your Petitioner is not and will not be
displacing any other Hong Kong residents
as far as employment is concerned since
Uncle So by entrusting his job to Your
Petitioner, he is able to go into semi-
retirement and eventually to full
retirement as intended.
(vi) Your Petitioner has never been and is
not and will not be a burden, financially
or otherwise, to Hong Kong.
(vii) Your Petitioner has proved to be a useful
member of this community and prays for an
opportunity to continue to do so.
