Subject arrived from China via Lown with the captioned pargit

claiming intention to join her sister in Hong Kong.

2. Secondary examination revealed that she had been a resident

in Indonesia since birth and had returned to China in about 1954 with

her husband with Indonesian travel documents. Her husband had passed

away five years ago leaving her with two sons 22 yrs. and

R 16 yrs. She applied to FSB in Shantung, China to leave for

Hong Kong with her two sons in 9/1978 to join her sister in Hong

Kong. On 3.8.79, she was issued the captioned Exit Permit and all

her Indonesian documents were surrendered to CPG authorities. Her

two sons, being born in China, were issued usual pink CPG Exit Permits. She arrived at Shum Chun to-day and was allowed to pass through whilst her two sons had to wait until 18.10.79.

She claimed her sister Md. W had also arrived with same type of permit sometime last year and is now residing at 131 1 1 4 g last year, and

3. Mrs. Lam of Visa Department of the local Indonesian Consulate was contacted by phone and confirmed that subject should have lost her Indonesian citizenship. However, in view of her widowhood and the inexplicable circumstance for which she was issued the Alien Exit Permit instead of the usual pink Exit Permit, she was landed three months as OC' on the permit after reference to SIO(B).
